'Mongrels' nominated for two RTS Craft and Design Awards

The series, which revolves around the lives of five anthropomorphic animals who hang around the bin yard of a pub on the Isle of Dogs, London, has been nominated for two awards which are given within the areas of TV production. The winners will be announced on 24th November.
Fox spotted chasing squirrels at Capitol Hill
Posted by crossaffliction on Mon 8 Nov 2010 - 16:12CNN photojournalist Giaco Riggs took a few pictures of a Red Fox in pursuit of squirrels on Capitol Hill last Friday.
"It just showed up and was hunting a squirrel," Riggs was quoted by CNN as saying. "When he showed up, all the other squirrels ran away. When the fox went away, all the squirrels came back."
Antheria changes hotel ten days before launch
Posted by GreenReaper on Tue 21 Sep 2010 - 00:53Something strange is going down in SoCal. Antheria, scheduled to start October 1 in Los Angeles, has been forced to switch hotels, according to convention co-chair 2.
The new venue is the Best Western Sunrise, 20-40 minutes down the road in Redondo Beach. Those wishing to stay must reserve new rooms, currently at a higher room rate.
Reservations for the Westin LAX will not transfer, and must be canceled by 6PM September 28 to avoid a charge. This can be done via the online reservation system, or by phone. Those wishing to cancel their convention registration must email by September 24.
Ohio plays catchup, bans human-animal hybrids

The bill was supported by the Ohio Christian Alliance and threatens violators with up to a year in jail, and a minimum fine of $250,000 if they make a profit.
